The fortune cookie
Every disc of vanilla batter gets a paper slip and two folds in the eight seconds before it sets. Order a box of twelve and write the fortunes yourself; we print them in red the night before.
It is also how this site asks about cookies. Four of them sit on the plate in the corner. Crack one, read what it does, and say yes or no thanks.
