M3 E30.
No video. 100% real-time 3D.
An unofficial fan concept for the BMW M3 E30, built entirely in real time with three.js and GSAP. The car opens as 147,456 particles you can scatter with the cursor, then the scroll draws its wireframe and flies 97 parts into place before a paint scan turns it to metal. A light sheet and an X-ray cursor read the body, the car pulls apart into a labelled exploded view, 16,384 streamlines show the airflow in a hangar wind tunnel, shard transitions carry it through a light tunnel and a night circuit, ice grows over it and shatters, and a wall of eight period colours turns live. The music is original and synthesised.
The piece, section by section
An unofficial fan concept for the original M3, where nothing on the page is a video: every frame is rendered live in the browser.
The original M3, made of light.
147,456 points sampled from the real car surface and simulated on the GPU: the cursor ray blows them apart and a spring pulls them home.
Built from 97 parts.
The wireframe draws itself nose to tail, the parts fly in from the floor up as fresnel ghosts, and an orange scan line turns them to paint, glass and chrome.
See through it.
A sheet of light crosses the body and leaves wireframe behind it; then the cursor becomes a torch that cuts the shell open.
Every part, in its place.
Seven groups pulled apart with their part counts read from the model, then put back.
Shaped by the wind.
16,384 streamlines advected on the GPU around a signed-distance stand-in for the car, coloured by speed and stirred by the cursor.
Born to race.
Shard transitions into a light tunnel whose rings are reflected live on the paint, a macro of the cross-spoke wheel, and a layered night circuit.
Yours, in any colour.
Hexagonal ice grows over the car and shatters; the paint sweeps nose to tail; eight period colours turn on a live wall.
Made honestly
Unofficial fan concept — not affiliated with or endorsed by BMW AG; nothing is for sale. 3D model: “[FREE] BMW M3 E30” by Martin Trafas (Sketchfab), CC BY 4.0. The two night-circuit backdrops were generated with Higgsfield (Nano Banana Pro); everything else — particles, assembly, scanner, X-ray, explosion, wind tunnel, worlds, ice, paint, interface and music — is computed in code. In the promo video the browser window, cursor and captions are drawn; the page is a frame-by-frame capture of the real site.

RS-01
A fictional brick-built race car kit: your scroll lets the finished car go into its 1,622 pieces and builds it back, brick by brick, under a camera viewfinder.
AJ1
An unofficial redesign of the Air Jordan 1 page: the scroll takes the shoe apart panel by panel, sews it back together and lines up its colourways.
CALASTRA
A house on a cliff where scrolling moves the sun, and every figure on the page is recomputed from where it stands.
